It's the problem dealing with elitist, progressives. They start the conversation completely certain that they are more intelligent than you, more progressive than you, and not the knuckle dragging, racist, redneck, homophobe that you must be if you vote for R's.

However, if you approach this as them being squeaky toys to have some fun with, it makes the whole exercise that much more enjoyable. No one is being converted here. It's just a bunch of sh** talking at the bar.

Your claim was the top 1% pay 35% of all tax, that is wrong no matter how you spin it. The only metric I use is being factual in your statement. As I stated, federal taxes do not represent the entire tax burden of any one group. There are state and local taxes, sales taxes, bed taxes, use taxes, property taxes, etc. it is a never ending list. Either show that the top 1% pay 35% of all these or try to keep up and be factual in your claims, K?

Using examples of Christian teaching failures to expose hypocrisy is not the same as bashing. If you want to truly witness bashing, research rightwing claims against Muslims. Now try to keep up, K?
