I'm trying to figure out what they think we will use, instead of the law, to settle disputes. Seems like "this is God's way" might be just a little bit vague. Plus everybody that works on the sabbath would be put to death. Seems messy.
I thought Lexington was nice, but they don't have Jack Frye's.Out in the state, there isn't much of a Republican party, so everyone registered Democrat to vote in the primar. No crossover, i am from Louisville NOT ky. Very sad, embarassing state. It's like Austin, TX. We don't belong. They just take our tax money.... Ellen
They are arguing that the Supreme Court doesn't make the law.
No, it does not. However, it does interpret the law.
Religious fanatics:
Court agrees with the law = everything is okay.
Court disagrees with the law = "judicial activism"
I wonder if it would be activism if they ruled the IRS was unconstitutional?
however, what law? where? what people do? WTF does that mean? how about the privacy of their dining room, on the table with a pot roast and a bottle of cold duck. what people do. whose business??? god, you sound like it's 1967 and you just watched "guess who's coming to dinner". if gays sought revenge for the mountain of unsolicited hate they have had to endure, every church in this country would be on fire.I get that Matt..however the way the law is currently "written" is that marriage is between one man and one woman. I don't care who anyone marries personally and think what people do in the privacy of their bedrooms is none of ANY-ONES business. In all honesty I think its a homophobic argument run amok.
didn't lightning already burn this place down once?I don't think I could stomach eating at Nick's:
