If the unvaccinated got vaccinated, the infection rate would go down, thus slowing the spread of the virus. If the unvaccinated would get vaccinated, then children who are ineligible to get vaccinated, would have a better chance of not contracting the disease. If the unvaccinated got vaccinated, they would not be contracting the virus and overburdening the hospitals, which would be better able to help the vaccinated who need normal health care. A man with a bad heart condition was turned away by about 40 hospitals that were overloaded with Covid patients, 95% were unvaccinated. He died because of the unvaccinated. The unvaccinated must get vaccinated to protect the vaccinated? What?
The vaccinated, those doing their part for the betterment of all, may currently only be protected for a limited number of variants. The unvaccinated, assholes like republicans, are walking incubators for Covid to mutate to who knows what level of vaccine resistance. The unvaccinated must get vaccinated to protect the vaccinated? What?
You are probably like me. I was born in 1951 and have had chicken pox, mumps, and a case of measles that went right into pneumonia. I am so happy that through the miracle of vaccines my son his wife and four grandchildren were spared these childhood illnesses. If the unvaccinated got vaccinated, the infection rate would go down, thus slowing the spread of the virus. The science shows only a small portion of vaccinated individuals end up contracting the disease, though you still can.The Covid-19 vaccines do not stop transmission of the virus. Think again.
I don’t think that’s is entirely true. A vaccinated person may contract the disease, but it will be fought off by antibodies and not developed at nearly the rate it would in an unvaccinated person. The vaccinated person would not be shedding the virus to other people at nearly the rate. The spread of the virus would be diminished. It’s not a silver bullet. It’s just another tool, along with mask-wearing, that will help. The Covid-19 vaccines do not stop transmission of the virus. Think again.
You could try thinking in more than one dimension for a change. The unvaccinated must get vaccinated to protect the vaccinated? What?
Yes of course. Some unvaccinated moron could have dosed me with his disgusting COVID germs. I could be asymptomatic and harboring them in my sinus cavities without actually acquiring the disease, or I could be the victim of a mild asymptomatic breakthrough case. In either case, I am capable of spreading the virus. As soon as it became apparent that the virus was spreading like wildfire among scores of unvaccinated antiscience dumbf***s in this area, I resumed the practice of mask wearing and avoiding crowded indoor venues. I do this not at all because I am worried about acquiring a severe case of COVID. I do this because due to the unspeakably selfish ignorance and stupidity that prevails in this county, fully vaccinated me could possibly spread this disease to some of these irresponsible f*****g morons. Try thinking in more than one dimension for a change. All I can say to these responses are WOW! Do you wear a mask, after vaccination?
