What is the unit of measure we use to judge how bad a riot is? human deaths? cost of destruction? Whatever it is we should weigh all of the riots against each other so we have a foundation to work from

I'm more interested in measuring how bad a failed overthrow of government is. Even with minimal loss of life and damage to property, how concerned should we be? Do we measure it by the competency of those who participated in the insurrection and how much of a threat they pose? Are unrealized threats important? Maybe we should look at how strongly those in power, particularly a sitting or former president supported the failed insurrection. Should we try to calculate to probability of future possibly successful insurrections occurring?

I’m ok with that, but let’s not confuse a riot with an insurrection designed to overthrow our democracy and halt the certification of a free and fair election. The riot was just one part carried out by a bunch of stupid low info rubes believing a lifelong liar.
The planning and purpose of the activities were well organized in multiple meetings by people in power including the sitting president.

How many people have been charged with this? You stated Trump was involved with the planning of the Jan 6th incident, where's your proof of this and has he been charged with anything?
