"My friends" was used by Martin Luther King Jr and Ronald Reagan in their speeches as well. Good company.
IMO McCain has a more detailed knowledge of the facts. Both have annoying speech patterns, McCain with "my friends" and the voice that sounds like his PoliGrip isn't working and Obama with his clipped speaking voice, "annnnnnd," and lowering his tone at the end of each sentence (as opposed to the more popular manner of speaking among younger people in which they raise their tone almost in the form of a question).
McCain shouldn't be moving around. His POW injuries make him look older than he is. Old is perceived as negative in our society. He would have been better off if they had spoken behind lecturns.

I think they both stunk tonight. I am fed up with both of them refusing to answer questions. The only time my preferred candidate (Obama) excited me was when he pointed out that McCain said, "Bomb, bomb Iran" and "Next Stop- Baghdad". But it is diminished (for me- we'll see if it swayed others) given the fact that it was said illegally- Obama blatantly broke the rules by saying this during a follow up opportunity he shouldn't have had...

What about the home loan buy up? The ad run prior to the debate by Obama highlighted the foreclosures in Florida. It seems that this plan addresses that. Does anyone think this will help?
