Most of the freshwater sources in SoWal have lots of dissolved sulfur that smells, especially after a big rain. Also, the swampy/marshy areas often smell of swamp gas (methane primarily). At Peach Creek you also have Alligators that might leave carcasses here and there, as do some of the residents on and around the creek, as well as lots of garbage around mobile homes.

At the end of Old Ferry Road is SoWal's only heavy industrial property. At present there are a couple of concrete plants there so there is a lot of noise and heavy truck traffic (dump trucks and concrete trucks). The zoning allows for heavier uses such as asphalt plants, chemical plants, incinerators, etc.

Sounds like an interesting place to live; I certainly hope you are not quoting from the developer's promotion brochure. What type of carcasses do the residents leave laying around? All that aside....does the developer provide the residents with a pontoon for transport?

Hey thats a great price! How many are still available, I might be interested in purchasing the remainder...Please PM me with further details

If these are $85,000 per lot, I wonder how this will affect Freeport lot prices

We are starting to see this trend. Freeport has big concerns as SoWAl has lowered prices. Is this development ready to go. All infrastructure in, etc... If not, how are they selling? Are they selling preconstruct. I would be very interested in this project as long as I did not have to close before infrastructure is complete. The projection to completions seems to go on longer then the developer intended. Please Pm details. If I can close once everything is ready to build the day I close I would like one.

Property Description:
The first phase of this new subdivision will consist of 88 lots. The lot price is $85,000 which includes the water and sewer taps paid! If you thought you missed out on the real estate boom in Florida well here is your chance to get in. No build out time! Invest here or build and move in! The first phase will be completed with streets, curbing, lighting etc. You cannot find a better deal in South Walton county at this price for a completed neighborhood. Just minutes from the beach, Seaside, Watercolors and Rosemary beach. South of the bay this is a great opportunity. Buy one or buy all but hurry. These will not last long at this price!!

Peach Creek Community

Better hurry...like they've been saying for the past couple of years...they're not making anymore land and the prices will only go up. :dunno:
