Happy Birthday, Dexter!!!! Can I borrow Dexter, My cat Bubba, left and moved in next door with my mother...because she hates cats and he knows it.

I have a Bubba, too. He is 17 years old. I can't figure how to put his pic in this.

I'll show you my Bubba if you'll show me yours!!!

Ya know...I can be pretty tuff...(I was the youngest and the only girl, I had to be)..but a smushed mouse is sad...even if it is eating me out of house and home. And...what if....it doesn't die...just mangled...then I would have to do a mercy killing.....OH THE THOUGHT!!!!

Maybe if I begin to hate Bubba, he'll come back..........

That will not be a problem, those swinging bars pack a staggering blow. Look at it this way:those traps are assembled by handicapped Americans, so every time you whack a mouse you are supporting a good cause:clap:

You can get really small "Have a Heart" traps, but I'm not sure if you can buy them locally. These are live traps that trip doors and close the mouse inside when he goes in after the bait. Then you take him somewhere FAR AWAY from your house and release him.... perfect opportunity to send someone you don't like a "little friend" or to get him back to the woods where he belongs.

Don't know about the really small ones, but Have-a-Hearts are great traps! We had a problem with a possum, and we caught him the very first night. I had to go to work that day, so I sent the hubby to release him. Made him promise to sing "Born Free" when he opened the gate...

I'm sure he complied with my wishes...

Hey D-ma! I don't think it's the hate that sends him to Grandma's, just the smushy food and cream that she feeds him... ;-)
