Over abundance of business regulations? I'm pretty sure there are some folks in Texas (fertilizer explosion destroys town) and West Virginia (poisoned drinking water) who might disagree with you on that. IIRC both companies simply filed bankruptcy and avoided responsibility while the EPA will spend years cleaning up the mess with your tax dollars. Talk about a handout!
Keystone is bad on so many levels, the primary one being that it continues to be a handout to oil companies to continue pursuing carbon based fuels. Oil, Coal and Natural Gas need to compete fairly with renewable sources or it's game over a lot sooner than you think. Oh and before you get all bent on whether it's global warming or climate change, it doesn't matter. Even the US military understands the effects of carbon in the atmosphere and says it's a much greater threat to US security than Ebola or ISIS. Of course you and others are still focused on Benghazi as we hurtle toward climactic issues that even someone of your advanced age hasn't seen or can even comprehend.
Foreign policy, you'd be surprised how much we might agree. I'm over the empire, bring the troops home from Germany, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, etc. and cut it in half. Take whatever those savings are and fulfill the promise made to veterans. World police, not anymore. If the UN wants to send troops then any other country on board matches troops and resources or we send no one. Unfortunately, until you can eliminate the military industrial complex from the lobbyists it won't matter whose in power.
