you are kidding me biff, seriously ? we filled the car up today, it was 3.29 for premium when we left town, and don said it went up while we were gone, but i don't know how much. the dreaded fill up is the avalanche - glug, glug, glug.

I'm seriously considering taking the bus to work.
This is getting ridiculous. They raised the prices for Hurricane Chris.. before there was even a shortage! Now they're raising them again, even though the news outlets are reporting that the SPR will probably release some oil to head off a shortage.
What I don't understand.. I work for the power company here. Our profits are regulated by the PSC.. why aren't the oil companies? :dunno:

you guys are all so mean ! i am quite sure that the multimillionaire pipeline owners, who profited multi millions last year, need my gas money more than i do. i am only an average american with 2 car payments and a house payment, while these people have lifestyles to maintain for god's sake ! don't be so stingy with you money - gas up frequently - pipeline owners need you !!!!!

perhaps you can tell we need to fill up all three vehicles this week ? thank god i can go 4 weeks at a time in my crv, and at least that long with the convertible.

I filled up last night while it was still relatively inexpensive at $3.28 a gallon (there's sure to be enough in my tank to get me to Indy on Saturday!)

This is going to hurt, may have to give up food. Hope I can afford to get to Sowal. I may not be able to come home ;-)

My thoughts exactly, cheering. I know I can dam well get down there in a couple of weeks, but I'm just thinking I may not be able to afford to come home.....oh dear, what shall I do? Repair appliances, paint, pick up beach crap? Still maybe not enough to get home....hmmm....maybe I'll just have to stay!

Amy I used the bus for years when I worked downtown. I worked at 4th and Main. Parking was so expensive in the garages around there, it made more sense to ride the bus. I actually enjoyed it. I rode an express bus in so it didn't make every stop that the other lines made. Tarc has a website that lists routes and schedules. Local banks sell tokens so you won't need to worry about cash daily, check it out when you come home from Sowal.
