Alaskan Pipeline shut down ? ? ? ? ?

i was reading on one of the news websites (can't remember which one) that this pipeline could possible be down until 2007....

you'd think those ****ing assholes could have prevented this. The only reason this happened is because they didn't want to spend the money or time to maintain the pipeline. The reason for the corrosion is because they quit cleaning or "pigging" the pipes. It's rediculus! Now they have to lay 25 mi of new pipe. Do you think people are going to sell their cars and go to biodiesel? This seems the only solution at the time. Go biodiesel!
