Girl, I'm glad it didn't blow you away.Do your car have any hail damage?
DD, that's what happened here in Indianapolis last Good Friday. It was terrifying, and I'm saying that as someone who loves wild weather. The hail started coming down and the winds were whipping up and windows started shattering and I thought this is what it must be like in Beruit. It was like a bomb attack. My poor Fyl was trapped in my old car, which had a sun roof and she crawled into the back seat, cowering. I can't even describe how scary it was. I truly feel for you for having to endure a bad hail storm. No one who's not been trapped in one can understand what it's like.
One good aftermath though, for us. Our roof was detroyed by the hail and we got a beautiful new one!!! Not that I'd ever want to go through such extreme measures again, however.
oh, hail!!! that sounds so scarey dd!!!glad you made it home safe and sound. I know the dog was really scared. what do you mean ONLY golf ball size?????

Yeah, the dog didn't know what to think...lemme tell ya, those sirens are LOUD! I'm sure it hurt her ears, and then when the hail started, she was pretty freaked out.
