Neither of them is my style of music. I love hip-hop and classical. Strange, but true. Deep down I am a Rolling Stones fan, and deeper down it will always be The Beatles for me.

BR, I will be playing nothing but Beatles for 3 hours on my radio show on 30A Radio (107.1 - 30aradio.org) this Friday from 3-6 PM. It will be all from the Anthology and Love albums, all alternate cuts from the originals, and all my favorite tracks. They give great insight into the process that went into the making of the songs before the "best" basic tracks were chosen, overdubs were added, and they became the masters that were eventually released to the public in the '60s. The first song - Love Me Do with Pete Best on the drums - classic!

BTW, when I worked for a company called Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab in the '80s, I was fortunate enough to handle and listen to the all of the Beatles original master 2 track tapes...an experience I will never forget.

Beatles forever!

And I hope you don't get upset with me, but I think Kris should be the next American Idol...although I don't count on it happening. Adam is just a little too over the top for my taste.

Tuned in for the first time last night--the guy that looks like a contemporary drag queen version of Elvis will win.
