Okay. Here's the problem - it's not about who has the nicest smile or who looks cute - it's about who can SING! Who is the best singer among them and who has star quality - ADAM. I have been a fan since day one. BTW Adam is 27 not 19. He comes from a great family. Has a wonderful personality. His smile is infectious. Never an attitude on his face like someone else (Matt). If you noticed in the clips with them going back to their hometowns, Kris had little girls in the audience. Most of his fans were not older than 10! I believe that is the only reason he beat Danny. Danny should have been in the finals with Adam. But that's okay, now I know for sure Adam will be the next American Idol!

Adam is 3 weeks older than my son. Adam may have star quality but his star quality is more like Broadway style to me. Kris did have young girls in the audience but those young girls may give him the win over Adam in the final. And as for Adam being the American Idol, that is not a definite until after the vote next week as to who will be the American Idol. It's Kris all the way for me.

But I have to be honest, neither one are my style in music and I wouldn't buy anything from them (and not from anyone who's won in the past either). But I do enjoy watching stars in the making.

Neither of them is my style of music. I love hip-hop and classical. Strange, but true. Deep down I am a Rolling Stones fan, and deeper down it will always be The Beatles for me.

I honestly don't get the Kris love. I think he is just an average singer who the young girls have gone ga-ga over. I love the Fray's version of Heartless - it is my favorite song on my ipod right now. I feel like Kris was credited with this amazing arrangement when the Fray covered it and made it into this dark, slowed down version and it was made to look like Kris invented the cover! David Archuleta's Apologize was much better - why Kris played the piano is beyond me.
Rant over. Adam has my vote for the 2009 Idol. I love Adam when he is controlled more on the ballads, not as much when he screams but as far as range, ability and star power - Adam is it.
Oh, I have never like Danny but his sing-out (his tone was spot-on) on You Are So Beautiful made me purchase his song. The recorded song was not as good as the live sing-out though. The top 5 sing-outs have been the best performances - every one of them have brought tears to me eyes!
