I thought there were more than a few mothers who should have said to their darlings a long time ago, "No, sweetie, you can't sing. Keep it in the shower."

Instead they feed false dreams to their kids and let them make a**es of themselves for our entertainment. That's mother love?

I know, I don't get it either. The shower singer was dreadful. (jeesh, I sound like Simon) His mother had not heard him sing since he was 8 years old! I'm sorry, he would have to audition in front of me before I'd drive him there, wait in line for hours and be humiliated before millions of tv viewers.

All bizarre things aside, I hope everyone got to see the truly divine moment of the evening; when the young girl Paris sang. Let me see if AOL lets me send the link...

Ive never seen the judges go so crazy over someone. Makes ya wonder why she can't do it on her own though, with a famous Grandmother to boot.

I really liked the girl who's mom left her at two and who lives with her Grandpa. I want to see her go far.

 What is the deal with all the guys made up like women? Are they just letting them through for ratings? The dude with the magic carpet was just embarrassing. And what about the airforce guy who seduced Paula with the song and then ran out to his wife! Aye aye aye.

The assumption at casa mouse was that the Aladdin guy was a theatre kid who was there because he lost a bet with a couple of friends, and was trying to make it entertainingly bad.

Rhonetta was pretty much a bust as a bad audition, IMO. They teased her all show long, and then all not that much. But then they still haven't come up with abad audition that could come anything close to 'Like A Virgin' Keith from season two.

I must admit, I got a little choked up hearing that girl talk about her life. She was darling. I too hope she goes far.

I saw my friend, Taylor, on the highlights for next Tuesday's show! He was singing - making an ugly face, but Paula was smiling! Yay! :clap_1:
