Just when I thought I had seen it all..........

This morning while driving West ON 30A between Watercolor and Grayton
Beach. I came on a female runner, running (East) IN THE ROAD toward me in the west bound lane. I had to come to a complete stop to avoid hitting her.
Are these people sane?? Are they suicidal ?? This was an adult woman??

The part I don't get is that there is a path...thank you very much; however, when walking or running on the road, you are should run / walk against traffic. Bikes ride with traffic...

I lived in Bermuda in Somerset Parrish and the roads there will scare even Nascar and Italian Taxi drivers.

What scares me are the children and adults who dart out in front of traffic in Seaside. We just drive slowly through there and assume that everyone might possibly do this.

I am avoiding driving through Seaside these days...unfortunately, that means I must drive through the Intersection at 395/98...

Went thru Seaside twice yesterday.............I stopped at every crosswalk because I knew if I didn't someone would walk out in front of me.

The Watercolor 4 way is actually much worse than Seaside now IMO. People go flying through there on bikes in all directions w/ no regard for traffic.

I REALLY don't understand how more people aren't hit by cars w/ all the near misses I see.

Decided we really need "bike" stop signs and that they should only allow cars to park along the road for better visibility. Folks step out from behind SUV's or vans and you can't see them until they are IN the road.

Because you won't see any threads with titles such as this one during the off-season. The craziest stuff happens from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Although January would be the best time to run in the middle of the road or let kids wander in traffic.
