sorry JR - this is funny - I thought your post was Smiling Joe for some reason!!! I thought, well, he's just having an awful day to be saying all that... poor SJ! and DD's over there laughing but not correcting me cause she's too nice.

Well, actually, I'm at the age where I'm almost over that business. I always figured that was gonna be a good thing BUT... I've now noticed that I'm ALWAYS in a perpetual stage of PMS! I never read that it would be this way!! It is hell getting old.

I've also discovered over the last 24 hours that I will be a horrible MIL one day.

I swear I was just fixin' to tell ya'll I just live about a mile down the road from what used to be Twitty City. Now it's like a religious broadcasting complex. At Christmas, though, they still light up a huge amount of lites like it was when it was Twitty City. He's been gone at least 5 years if not longer of a sudden abdominal aortic aneurysm.., it's been a looong tiiime...

Now that you mention it, I kinda remember his untimely departure...and I sorta do remember Twitty City...

Anyone still posting?? Friends came over and we had "beer Margaritas". As I do not like beer, these were pretty good. Finished off with a good bottle of wine. Too tired too sleep.

Twitty City....went there once with my children....lots of lights..great for kids. Somewhat like gaudy Gatlinburg withour the outlets.

yep. I think it was basically regular margarita recipe but then add beer. I have been doing this lately and it really is good.

That was me, but you have it backwards! It was a Margarita made with beer, not a beer Margarita.
