JB said:The AD's from both schools (Dave Hart and Mal Moore) had numerous meetings/conference calls about this game. For whatever reason, Jacksonville was agreed upon. I'm sure Atlanta was considered, but I am guessing the Georgia Dome had a conflict the day they wanted to play the game.
As long as the ticket split is 50/50, I have no problem with the location. Should be a fun trip. Hopefully, I can get in a round of golf at Sawgrass while I'm there.
Not to sound like I'm beating my chest here, but I wish more SEC teams would schedule games like this. Great for national exposure and great for recruiting.
