What amazes me is the woman, that was told to leave that was closest to him and goes back to get her purse.

That purse goes with everything.

the people in that room are very fortunate that no one else was killed...especially Ginger...what was she thinking? Hurrying out and calling the cops would have been a much better choice. She's lucky he did not shoot her as she lay on the floor...

When I first saw the footage on MSNBC, it actually filmed all the way through him shooting at 2 or 3 people, and then getting shot himself and going down. I actually replayed it because the words were harder to hear towards the end, and when I replayed, the video stopped at the point SWGB mentioned, and only had audio.

It was fairly surreal, and pretty horrific to watch. He seemed so calm while he was pulling the trigger. It's going to be hard to shake that image from my mind for awhile. I feel so, so sorry for everyone involved. Desperate people do crazy things. And everybody pays the price.

Ginger is dumb as a sack of rocks.

The smart lady was the one who got on all fours and crawled out.

Ginger: Do not bring a purse to a gunfight.

Ginger needed to put a brick in her purse, like Ester on Sanford and Son.

I don't know anything about Ginger's intelligence, but I'd take her on my team any day. She risked her own life to try and protect the rest of the board members. Imagine what she would do to try and protect the kids, who had left the meeting just prior to the gunman entering.

If the rest of the board members had jumped on the gunman when Ginger whacked him, the incident may have ended before the shootings.
You can call her dumb, but she gets a star in my book.

My hero is Husfeld.

He tried to keep the situation from escalating and stalled for time till the calvary could show up.

Ginger, in my opinion, made things worse, fortunately none of the good guys were hurt.

I once knew a woman (Nettie Jean) who carried a brick in her purse. She kept it in a sock so she could get leverage.

In case you're wondering what the V is from:

V for Vendetta (2006) - IMDb

I recognized the V, but I thought it was kind of an odd reference for him to make. The movie, although great, was not that popular, and it's kind of a more obscure graphic novel.

Interesting that he chose to use that... :dunno:
