I got a call this morning from my Bank and apparently someone was trying to purchase tickets to Belgium and England and other on-line merchandise.
My caller ID showed the Bank, but I still asked for his name and number to call him back as I know there is a scam going around trying to gain info.
It was a real security agent. I hardly use my debit card, so I am wondering how someone gained access to my number?
and I certainly do not use it on line. I use cash for this reason.
Wonder if they managed to break through the bank firewall?
Any hoo, they locked up the account as soon as the second airline ticket was purchased and are doing an investigation.
Happy holidays to me huh.
