Nothing! I'm all for people of all ages enjoying the beach, I'd like to be a granny on the beach some day! HOWEVER...Memaw and Pappie need to keep there distance during my 5 minutes of wedding bliss on the beach!

I've noticed at least one beachfront rental home whose owners state, "No weddings or receptions." So anyone planning a beach wedding with a beachfront home as the gathering place should check with the owner or rental company.

Actually, I am thinking of just having the ceremony in front of the Mistral condos. Then I could walk down all the stairs to the beach to my awaiting hubby to be, instead of riding together to another location. I just don't know what kind of privacy we'll have. I don't mind on-lookers, just don't want big granny and speedo-clad papaw in the background!

That's why they invented Photoshop, let me know if you get a speedo clad grandpa in the background, I can take him out for you. Think of it as my wedding gift to you ;-) Just don't worry about it and enjoy your day!
p.s. think of the stories you could tell if papaw was in the background, you'd be telling it for years...just one more thing to make it special!

Let's just say it was a "small affair" at the JP's office, small Texas town. 8am. JP, bride, groom, wino. Had breakfast after at Micky D's, went to the car wash. Drove to Galveston for the honeymoon. Went downhill from there.
