The problem is because they cheat to get in; they then cheat the system once they arrive.

They can't be law abiding citizens when they have broken the law.

If they truly want to be here to make a better life for themselves, then make them legal, let them pay taxes, let them have driver's license so when they run over me from being drunk they won't bolt and run because they are illegal and have no license and no insurance. Give them ID so they can be prosecuted.

If they want to contribute and not take away, then let them come.

Many people could care less in other parts of the country about the oil spill. I know many people that are very willing to have off shore driling because it does not personally affect them.

It's very easy to not care about something or understand it, when it does not affect your backyard.

I'm not saying there are no bad guys. I'm saying that good guys (in my opinion) will violate these statutes and then go on to live good lives and contribute to society. It happens, that's all I'm saying. That bothers some people, not me.

Well, you're right about apples and oranges. However, 'When in Rome' is the point. Da law is da law.

You completely miss the point, they are not tourists with cameras and designer shorts and their airline tickets in their shirt pocket biatching because they cant find good grits in Milan.

Really? OK, Lucifer, ok. Whatever you believe about others, let's just go with that. FYI - I hardly miss your point.

Fair enough, I shouldn't have said that. I just think it's funny that people expect fugitives to be neat and tidy when they are trying to get away with something. It would be like expecting someone in a high speed car chase to use his turn signals when he changes lanes.

i'm here to tell you these pictures wern't taken by militia members(that just makes me laugh) but there is an agenda. to try and get the message out that there is a problem in arizona. bottom line.

Sorry if I misspoke, I thought they were from an email that has been circulating since 2007 with pictures taken on June 27 of that year, by Lance Altherr, leader of the Tuscon Chapter of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps.

Look like the same photos to me:

Was trying to head off the typical source/bias/agenda squabble by stating that they do accurately depict the situation.

I thought I saw this before as well. In any event, it sends the message.
