MidWal???
Apparently not all. My husband ran in for some bread, then opted to ask if y'all had loose rolls instead. He was given 2 rolls at the cost of
$ 4-- rolls that I pay .35 cents a piece for in New York--. The entire loaf of Pepperidge Farm bread was that the same price. He would have given them back had the young lady not promptly disappeared to the back room. So, he paid and left, but he felt like he had just witnessed a hit and run. Sometimes you never know who will stop in. I would hope that unrecognizable Sowalers be treated with the same respect.

I can only say I am sorry about the rolls. I wish I knew who it was and why on earth they thought that much of a roll! I will talk to Charlie this morning and have him see what the deal is. Most of the time if they want a high price for something we let you guys know up front. We don't make the prices but we have to pay them too so we let you all know if we think it is too high. Just ask me for a chicken salad sandwich some time. I will tell you the price and a DIY deal real quick. Again I am sorry someone did you that way.
Just to let you know I don't know many of the SoWal faces and I try to be nice to everyone. I know people in our store and others can be rude but please don't let that make you think bad of the rest of us. Let someone know when bad things happen so they can be taken care of.

One famous SoWaller has Cincinnati chili on her "despised foods" list. Guess who.

Because it isn't real chili. It is Cincinnati Skyline chili, which is the name for runny gruel served in a chain restaurant, and shouldn't even be called chili.:puke:

Thanks for the response.
On the flip side, I stopped in for a soft drink and was greeted by a very pleasant, cordial young man who proceeded to compliment my blouse with sea shells on it. Said it reminded him of one his grana wore.

Jambones side of beans is actually pretty close to a chili. Flip-Flops Grill in Seagrove has the best Chili Cheese Dog.

thanks sgb for the bean plug - we actually do have real chili homemade from scratch here at the bone. we use our in house burger grind of brisket, chuck and sirloin - all natural of course. our "secret" ingredients are chipotle chile, mexican chocolate and a little bad byron's butt rub! we finish each bowl with cheddar and jack, sour cream, fresh chopped tomatoes, lime pickled jalapenos, scallions, cilantro leaves and a load of tortilla chips!

cup 4.95
mongo size bowl for 8.95

Oh yummy, I may be in today for this. Chili is sooooooooo good on a cold day like today. If I order an "adult" beverage with it I've been to the Mediacom office first. :rotfl:
