We've done the exact same fund-raiser at out church too with the youth group. They love it!!iwishiwasthere said:Good one!laughed out and the dogs wondered what was happening.
Our youth group raises money by "Flamingo-ing" our members yards at night. If you are a formal person who dislikes such, you can purchase insurance to be certain you are not flamingoed. The kids love it, the challenge of not getting caught. Members enjoy the surprise....then they get to choose the next recipient. It has been quite successful and encourages a closeness not otherwise forged.

...that's better than whoz yer daddy!!! He is just fine, thanks! I was busy cleaning out his office and throwing stuff away while he wasn't looking. He saves everything. I made it much easier for him to get to things. It was a good day. I almost made it a whole day without sowalling!!! :shock:Sueshore said:...that's better than whoz yer daddy!!! I don't mean to hijack the thread, but what can I do with old Beanie Babies? My daughter has about 100 in a closet, all with tags still on. For some of them that she just *had* to have, I paid multiples of the retail price. How stupid!audie said:my mom collected beany babies for years, and has tons and tons of the darn things. i keep telling my sis since i am the oldest, i get to divvy up the stuff when it's time, and she gets the beanies! she doesn't seem to agree with this.![]()
