Just emerged from my food coma. We had bep, pork roasts one smoked by fbb, one cooked in oven, our homemade bbq sauce and a little Scott's N.C style for fbb, collards,rice, jalapeno cole slaw, N.C. style cornbread, deviled eggs, and homemade strawberry cake, oreo truffles, brownies...hence, the food coma.
Gotta run, we're having leftovers for lunch.

I cheated - just had a ham sandwich w/ lettuce, drank mineral water (bubbles for round), then made rice w/ carrots (round), celery, and leek (green) as my dinner side.
Hopefully I get effort points and the jingle balls will cover the rest of the bases.

since my mother is too far and she's usually the one that cooks nyd meal, i prepared the meal myself.
spinach/feta stuffed pork tenderloin w/ byron butt rub. it was the best i've ever cooked.
bep's soaked overnight and cooked in crock-pot.
kale with olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette, garlic, ginger. won't use vinaigrette next time.
the only thing that disappointed me was that i didn't have my mom's made from scratch cornbread. i used jiffy, and that just ain't the same. when i do jiffy again i'm going to add some orange marmalade, sugar, pecans and cranberries.
and cook it in a fish muffin tin.
and lotsa chardonaaay!
