Krafty....what a woman! I took Maggie for a walk earlier in the pouring rain and 40 degrees. I was ready to hurt someone when I got back. Oh my, I'd never make it where you are. I'm a wimp.

40 degrees and rain is horrible! I especially dislike being at golf tournaments in that kind of weather. I always get chilled to the bone and it takes forever to warm up.:angry:

I'd take bundled up and dry any day, even at -15!!!

Awwww, thank you for feeling my pain. I was ready to really go on a rant about the whole incident, but I went to bed instead. It was just like you said, I got chilled and could not get warm. I got under the covers and barely saw who was kicked of AI. It's still raining this morning..I know we need it, but..

No Noah, but I did see some pairs of animals heading toward the lake.

DD, it is 31 here right now and raining, supposed to be changing to sleet and freezing rain for most of the day and evening. I don't like this, they were saying a .25 of ice then a inch of snow, now they are just showing sleet and freezing rain which is worse. I still have to be at work at 8:00.

Be careful, LadyD. It sounds like your weather is even more lovely than ours. The rain's supposed to hang around til Saturday.

Hey DD, well, we dodged the bullet, we had a cold rain all day. Showing rain through Saturday for us. We got no sleet or freezing rain, obviously it stayed north of us, thank goodness. But our weatherbug temp here at the house showed no higher than around freezing this afternoon. But I think the weathermen actually said today's high was 35, but it wasn't at our house. But when your temps are in the mid 30's or lower, cold is cold, no matter what.

It was -21 this morning when I was out, a new record low for Mar. 12th. Here's a pic of my frozen eyelashes:
