Bully Cheerleaders In Lakeland

Can you believe that video??? They were beating up their supposed friend to post on you tube!
Now they are worried about not going to the beach for spring break and missing cheerleading practice(right), not the girl they beat up together. What big spoiled brat criminals! I hope they sit their butts in jail for at least a year. Parents should teach their kids better. They are probably big bullies themselves so how can you expect the kids to know any better? No morals....

I appraud the State Attorney for prosecuting them as adults, and going for Agg Battery and Kidnapping, I think the case should also be given to the US Attorney to review, for violating US Title and prosecution in Federal Court.

I missed the details of this--does anyone know if the victim initially agreed to being beaten to post on YouTube, or was it the others ganging up on her? No matter, it is horrible, but I am just curious.

no she was lured there. The two guys stood guard outside while the others beat her up.

Dont you think making this a federal case is a bit over the top? I took a few minutes to view it, stupid does come to mind, Felony does not. You really think this justifies Life in prison? Those charges will be pleaded down unless they have prior's. Keep federal cases for those who deserve it,,, keep this one local.

I dont think it should be federal but I am glad they are being tried as adults and hope they get the same sentence that any other person (that isnt a high school cheerleader) would get.
