Dont you think making this a federal case is a bit over the top?I took a few minutes to view it, stupid does come to mind, Felony does not. You really think this justifies Life in prison? Those charges will be pleaded down unless they have prior's. Keep federal cases for those who deserve it,,, keep this one local.

Very sickening. Maybe the homeowner should even be held liable. Why in the world would a child feel it was okay to do that period, anywhere, much less in their own parent's home? If the child was comfortable enough to use their home to stage it, then they have obviously not been disciplined worth a crap or had the fear of God instilled in 'em. I think parents should be held accountable for lots of their under age kids behavior. I admit, maybe I am a bit old school when it comes to child discipline. There is just no room in a peace-loving society for this ganging up mentality. Some one's gonna teach them a much needed and overdue lesson and they deserve everything they get. So do their parents.
