ooh ooh ooh....VIENNA SAUSAGES!!!! Used to slice them up and put them on whitebread with mustard!!!! How is it I am still alive??????

When I lived on the farm, I used to open a can of vienna's (pronounced vie-een-eez) and sit them on the dash of my truck to warm them up. They would sit right next to a greasy slice of hoop cheese wrapped in cellophane. That was a great lunch. Probably wouldn't touch it now.

We used to hear it pronounced Vie-een-ers. That just kills my husband (a Yankee) when he hears that!

This is a complete tangent but I had to post it. I just sat at my desk and ate a half a bag of microwave popcorn and my phone rings. It is my wife and she said I have a dentist appointment in an hour.

We used to hear it pronounced Vie-een-ers. That just kills my husband (a Yankee) when he hears that!

That is what my grandma always called them!!!!
