Caution! Falling iguanas

Ewww, same....now that would freak me out.

When we lived in Clearwater and drove up to Sowal or to visit my dad in Chipley, we would stop at this quaint little park/rest stop on Hwy. 19/98 near Fanning Springs, I think. It was located on the banks of a river, maybe the Suwanee. But posted on a sign near the banks of the river read, "Beware of falling snakes from trees!" The first time I saw that I almost broke my neck trying to run from the beautiful oak I was standing beneath!

I was naive and never thought snakes hung out in trees, literally! Maybe they were moccasins?

Yes! After I typed the lizard thing, I thought of snakes and shuddered.
P.S. Ugh, I spent my 4,000th post writing about dropping snakes!

I kinda like lizards but if we ( Dylan) got one it would be a bearded dragon.

spidey and I really want a bearded dragon! but after reading a book about them, we're not really ready for such a commitment to the care and huge habitat they need. not to mention feeding of crickets, mealworms and small mice.:shock: maybe some day. they are so "adorable".

for now, we like our 4 hermit crabs.
