Not for the faint at heart are they?! Otherwise, the body fed properly will do the job by itself just fine...unless you have other health issues.

Seriously, a couple days of "make your own Sowal spa" will make you feel better than a cleanse - which can be not so pleasant, in addition to not so bueno for the innards. 
The French do a 2 week mineral water only (no booze) to get themselves back on track after major celebration times. I find cutting back (or out) on the alcohol for a couple days, fresh air, bubble baths, and a bunch of light and heavy on the fresh fruit/veggie meals does the trick.
