One needs only to look at the campaign reports to find out where the money comes from as if most of us don't already know. The little Republican clique will remain as long as they want to.....and continue to be an embarrassment to us all.

Without folks stepping up, for whatever reason, it gives us a choice and those cliques are threatened. Politics being what they are, folks vote what is in their best interest. Until we get politicians who represent us all and not their own special interest then I think things will improve. Unfortunately there are very few of those types of folks out there.

Yes, Bob, you are right. And those who complain the loudest are usually those who have their own special interests that aren't being met and do not wish to seek methods to correct it. Many have no idea how difficult it is to serve the citizens of a city, county, state or the nation. It is hard work and the fact that you can't please everyone does not make it any easier.
One of the biggest contributors to Walton county incumbents has an ad on this very page.
So...what's your point?
It is clearly obvious that one or more participants in this forum are not in possession of knowledge concerning what is really going on inside the realms of the County Commissioner's shake down "operation".
One should never confuse forum participants "smart remarks" (similar to the one above) with the possibility that a participant possesses intelligence.

Yeah, where is the "enlightenment"? And just to be clear, I'll gladly, as I've reiterated previously here and elsewhere, put my education, experience, knowledge, intelligence and opinion up for all to see. I may be opinionated but I am far from stupid, as you so graciously intimated.
