The title of this thread and the information you are giving is not matching up, alas, I am confused again.
But Obama faces this: 40 percent of all white Americans hold at least a partly negative view toward blacks, and that includes many Democrats and independents.
I don't know if Obama/Biden is the answer but we have to do something different. We need leadership that is proactive not reactive and I'm not talking about war.
Obama may be inexperienced enough to be "different" from most other politicians, but Biden has done nothing else, and anything coming from him, won't be "different" any more than will be that coming from McCain.
Thanks for sharing this editorial / endorsement punzy. I plan to forward to friends and family. I am so excited about the opportunity we have right now to put a man in the white house who is brilliant, articulate, truly qualified to lead, has real answers to real issues that are not just quick fixes, runs the most honest and professional campaign we've ever seen, and knows that education of american citizens is the key to all. he does not profess to have all the answers but knows how to draw from our vast resources and excellent american people to get the best answers and solutions. that is leadership.
and I am thankful and amazed that we have the opportunity that we have in obama.![]()
I surely hope that we don't go back to six months ago -- It would only lead to more of the same, and I would feel trapped in a loop.
And I thought only Republicans drank kool-aid and blindly followed. Like many I am starting to get thoroughly disgusted with this whole process. Is it to late for us to back up six months and start over?
