Since you are the fossil fuel guru, why not provide data that disputes his rather than being a name caller, you name caller:razz:
I'm just a fossil, not a guru. Regarding Will, if he could construct an article that wasn't a repub defense, I would judge that info on it's merits. This thread and all the other political threads has lined up as Repubs: oil/warhawks vs. Dems: tree hugger/peaceniks. Choose your thread, as it's all the same. I'll remove the name calling when you serve up articles about oil w/o the "liberals","Clintons" references.

Should they exclude the W/Cheney/ Big oil references as well? You realize when we run out of oil you will be screwed, cuz that WD-40 you spray on your hippie bike chain doesn't grow on trees.;-)

Make sure you wipe off the excess WD-40 on the outside of the chain, as it attracts dirt. It's very difficult not to take that bait as both men have known past and present associations. Both Gulf Wars are inherently linked to oil, and unreasonable people will differ as to that conclusion. Regarding name calling, if the next President sits on his/hers hands domestically, while pusuing a chosen war, I will criticize no matter the party. It's not about party, but a glaringly obvious problem of energy geopolitics brought on by supply/demand issue and an unstable OPEC. The spend/produce/pump your way our the situation ignores the long term problem. Innovation and disengagement from the Middle East are our only workable hope. Corn is not the answer. We onced used the Manhattan Project to save the lives of a million U.S. troops pending an invasion of Japan. We can invent a synthetic fuel or perfect alternate existing technology if there is a concerted governmental push in the same way as in the past. It may not save 1 million lives, but it will certainly make us more prosperous, safe, and secure. Cue the patriotic music.
