Hey all, I am working on and ad and I wanted to check with the experts: Is it Scenic Corridor 30-A
or Scenic Highway 30A
or WHAT?

Thanks for your help!

It may depend on the spread of your ad, geographically speaking. Remember that there is a 30A in other parts of the FL panhandle. So, if your ad is for let's say the Tallahassee market, they may think of the 30A over in the Apalachicola area, not SoWal.

The actual road is recognized by the Florida Scenic Highways as, "Scenic Highway 30A."

"Scenic Corridor 30A" represents not just the highway, but the adjacent parcels, as well as CR 83, CR 393, CR 283 and CR 395.

It was once my hope that our beloved Highway 30-A would aquire a more colorful, quaint, and unique name that had a somewhat better ring than just a number and a letter, which always struck me as "mechanical" or something. I know that many businesses have the name ingrained into their logos, so it would be hard to ever change it. My suggestion was to call it "Eleven Lakes Road". It's just a thought.

I like 30A much better than some generic cutesy name. I think funky numbers or no name are better than a name - like Route 66.

I know what you mean. Route 66 gained style most likely from those cool guys that drove that cool car. To me, 30A is generic, especially since there is another 30A near Apalachicola. And, I also think that new sticker saying "30-Ahhh" is just plain dumb. My two cents.

Or, as the Canadians say, "30? Eh?"

Is it 30A or 30 A or 30-A? I understand why the owner of Caf? Thirty-A added a hyphen because if it were written in all caps, it would be CAFÉ THIRTYA (thirt ya?). But their website name doesn't have a hyphen because Unix wouldn't like that. (That's another story -- Unix should not have ever been trademarked in all caps because it's not an acronym).

I just happened to look at a really old road map in hubby's car as I was sitting in the passenger seat on the way back from having my hair done today. It calls the part of Florida Highway 30 near Apalachicola "30C"????? Then I googled and found that there is a Florida Highway 30H.

I'm confused. I was already confused about Santa Rosa Beach not being in Santa Rosa County, and Fort Walton Beach not being in Walton County, and Seacrest and Rosemary being in Panama City Beach which is in a different county.
