County Giving Away Beach Access at 30A and 395?

Sounds like a good research assignment.
The county administrator was speaking at a women's club meeting this morning. When questions were taken, I asked him about the CR-395 and CR-30A intersection. He said the plan was still for a right westbound right turn lane. I asked if the intersection improvements would affect the beach access at the intersection. He said they should not. He also said he was not aware of any plans to abandon this or any beach access. I have requested the location map for the abandonment. Will post when I obtain it.

I talked with a planner again last night about the abandonment. They would be abandoning unpaved right-of-way along the south side of the paved part of 30A. This is part of the land exchange for the turn lane improvements at the intersection.
