Just arrived back in Tampa. The crew, and every port were especially appreciative since this is only the second sailing for this vessel since cruising resumed. They now worry about another shutdown with Omicron.
If you are one of the unvaxxed maskholes stop being a selfish prick because this affects everyone.

Give DeSantis credit he worked hard for this

I think Florida would be a lot worse off if it weren't for the fact that 50% of the people in Florida think Desantis is a joke, and they have behaved responsibly during this pandemic.

The number of coronavirus cases recorded in the U.S. may still fall short of describing the true destruction caused by the Delta and Omicron variants because testing has slowed over the holidays. https://nyti.ms/3sRfaMW

Some restaurant staff at the Pearl in Rosemary are positive for Covid. Not sure if they have enough employees to keep it open. I work with spouse of one of them so they are also sidelined. It. seems to be hitting this area hard with the tourists here this past few weeks. I'm hearing a lot of personal stories.

Yup, many companies are mandating masks for employees. Remember with every last breath you owned the libs!

I read about a woman on an airplane who received news mid flight she tested positive for Covid and voluntarily spent the next three hours in the lavatory waiting to land.
My grandson learned today he was exposed by a coworker. He is now isolating and, when needed, wearing a mask at home to protect his family and others until he can be tested tomorrow.
No bitchin and moaning about rights and freedom just people being responsible members of society.

Florida breaks single-day COVID case record

Dec 31, 2021 4:36 PM EST

TAMPA, Fla. — The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday reported more than 75,900 new cases of COVID-19 in Florida.

That tally raises the 7-day average daily to 42,600, which is twice as high as it was at the peak of this summer’s surge when the delta variant fueled a surge of infections in the state.

Friday’s report marks a single-day record for the number of new cases in Florida. It breaks the record set a day earlier when more than 58,000 cases were reported in the state. The omicron variant of the coronavirus has spiked in Florida and across the nation over the past few weeks.

Soaring numbers during the holiday season have sent tens of thousands of people to COVID-19 testing centers across Florida, resulting in long lines in many areas.
