Sweet! Why not part with 9mill or so and buy a house in Grayton and let your good buddy RO and fam stay for a night or 2 .

Mrs.LL took care of the reservation. She put a message out in the rental board or whatever you call it. I think we stayed in building 1 I think. Numero 222. Nice place. That pool kicks butt. :clap_1: Walker was highly entertained by that thing.

Watch out for drunk boat drivers. They are all over Crab Island and they can kill you quickly.

Also, watch out for the current! Depending on if the tide is going in or out, you might find yourself in a swift current. One time last year, we had anchored the sailboat in a bit deeper water and walked to the shallower area. The tide was coming in and when it was time to get back to the boat, we had to swim, and swim across the current. Thank goodness we had left a long line over the side of the boat to grab onto. The kids were not happy, and I have to admit, there was a point where I thought we wouldn't be able to get back to the boat!

It is lots of funn though! We're planning in going tomorrow if weather permits. Also, if you go, you can go over to Dewey Destin's for lunch. Dock the boat over there and eat at the picnic tables.

I have to have a good reason as to why I ever moved away from such a beautiful area!!!! Then I remember.... the rednecks. Mr. JR has me translate what they're saying when we go back for a visit (my hometown in So. Ala.)
You know, the chester drawers for chest of drawers, bowled paynuts, chillrin, chimbley,etc. Mr. JR is in shock & awe when he visits.

How about windshield factor for wind chill factor? And cadillac converter for catalytic converter??? Former boss of my husband's was oh so country and redneck. These are two of the funnies he constantly said!

Long story short....our Hamptons plans fell through last weekend and we ended up in LONG BEACH! AHHH! And we almost died. We stayed in a room that was $40 a night.

We went to the beach the next day. I get chills thinking about. Check out this little treat....

Nothing sexier than a prego in a 2 piece!! ^5 to her for her self confiendence...I would surly have a cover up on!
