crab island. no crabs, no island.

went out there to see some skydiving. i thought it was to be a big competition, but it was the atlanta club on their annual visit. many jumpers taking many jumps, all day. headed over to crab island and hung out for a few hours.

OL, I said the same thing when I saw JR's pics! Kimmi posted the first pics I'd ever seen taken at Crab Island; before then, I'd never even heard of it. The water is amazing.
JR, anyone who's been there--can you give specifics? Exactly where is it, and if someone wants to go for the day/afternoon/whatever, where do you drive to and park?

We rented a boat out of the Destin Harbor. Crab Island is at the Western end of the Destin bridge.

You could do what Kimmi does and hang out at the docks waiting for "hot guys" to invite you.... then as the day goes by lower your standards
