Hey Toots, my daughter's hair has no bangs. Can't see the photo now because Earthlink cut off my webspace.
We had Sprint phone and DSL at the beach with "free" webspace provided through Earthlink. Then last summer the phone/DSL service changed (with no choice on our part) to Embarq. Embarq provided no webspace. Yet my Earthlink webpages still worked. Everything was working as recently as Friday because I FTP'd a congrats to my webspace to link to a message to jdarg that day. Then on Saturday AM, poof, it was all gone. No one at Sprint or Earthlink or Embarq can explain it to me. I'd just like to be able to have a temporary password to download all of my content from their FTP server. But no one I talk to on the phone has any clue what I'm talking about. They don't know what FTP means.
Now Embarq tells me they provide web hosting. But I'd really like my content from Earthlink. I have most of it on my laptop, but it's just the principle of it that bugs me.

yes, we are embarqued now too. the dsl is great. but my telephones no longer work! the phone company checked it all out and couldn't find a problem. don't know what is going on = I can receive calls but not make outgoing calls. then I played around with it and if I switch the phone from touch tone to rotary, I can dial out - I punch in a phone number and it sounds like each number is being dialed on a rotary phone. and then the call goes through. may be just my phones crapped out just when embarq took over, but all 3 of 'em? I'm just using my cell phone these days.
Thanks for the tip, Tootsie. The renters haven't complained about no phone service, but they're probably using their cell phones.

I don't have bangs per se, but now I always manage to have my cut give me some forehead coverage as I find it softens my, um, maturing apperance. Unfortunately, I have become completely dependent on the flat iron, which is not very condusive to beach living. If I throw out the flat iron, I have to go back to my days of trying to be a Halle Berry copycat:
Those days were easy, but that hair offers no versatility. One look only, pretty much. Tree, I am always short, it's usually just different degrees of it and varying colors.

me too (short). I've had the halle look many times and I always LOVE it. I will return to this. people are always so shocked and act like I'm totally nuts when I do it, but it is just the best way to live life, imo...
seriously!!! I just need to lose a load of weight first. very short hair on a small head makes my butt look even bigger than usual...
