The average price of homes sold in Detroit in 2012 was $7,500; as of January 2013 47 houses in Detroit were listed for $500 or less, with five properties listed for $1.[42] Despite the extremely low price of Detroit properties, most of the properties have been on the market for more than a year as buyers balk at the boarded up, abandoned houses of Detroit.[42] The Detroit News reported that more than half of Detroit property owners did not pay taxes in 2012, at a loss to the city of $131 million (equal to 12% of the city's general fund budget).[45]

I realize I'm not the brightest color in the crayon box so please explain what Detroit's problems have to do with herding all the Native Americans there and fencing them in?

what happened to Detroit was a long time coming, lousy cars, bad management, adversarial labor unions...when tarp money came there were no strings attached to invest in Detroit proper. $13.4 billion for General Motors.
$6 billion for GMAC.
$4 billion for Chrysler ...now Detroit is getting 50-100 million in TARP funds to raze buildings.

"If the Democrats want to insult the women of America by making them believe that they are helpless without Uncle Sugar coming in and providing for them a prescription each month for birth control because they cannot control their libido or their reproductive system without the help of the government, then so be it. Let's take that discussion all across America."

Mike Huckabee, another in the long list of Republicans who just don't get it.

“The problem isn’t what Mike Huckabee says – it’s what he and too many other politicians believe. These politicians need a basic anatomy and sex ed course. Birth control is basic, preventive health care for women. It helps women plan their pregnancies and manage their lives, and many women use it for a variety of other medical reasons, including treatment of endometriosis that can lead to infertility. The fact that Mike Huckabee doesn’t understand what birth control does is a perfect illustration of why decisions about birth control should be left to a woman and her doctor, without interference from politicians."

The Planned Parenthood Action Fund, continuing the battle to educate ignorant Conservative males.
