Re: Report from SoWal
30-A radio is off the air for now. I guess the winds are getting up there. Be safe everyone!

I'm at the Cottages of Camp Creek in the Seacrest/Camp Creek area. At this point, there doesn't seem to be much damage. The wind is pretty strong and I think/hope this is close to as bad as it is going to get. I can see a few shingles off the few roofs, but at this point, IT IS MINOR so please don't get worried.
Kurt lives in Pt. Washington where there are a lot of big trees so he may have power problems.
I don't know if we'll be lucky enough to retain power, etc., so you may not here from us again until after the storm. I'll get down to the beach as soon as I can, probably tomorrow a.m.
Thanks much, Camp Creek Kid! Our places are 71 and 79 Cottage Way at the Cottages at Camp Creek (Ahhh The Good Life and Key Lime), so if you take a walk around, just please let me know if you see any problems. I'll be there next Monday (a week from tomorrow). Looking forward to it and looking forward to patching those nail holes and painting the trim again (I did it after Ivan and will probably wait until November to do it again this year in case there are more storms). My hope is that the electricity will be on, the pool will be running, and our new stairs to the beach will be there when we get there!
You take care. I'm off to watch the weather channel from our couch in Michigan now that Dennis is coming on shore.

We are now surfing between FOX News and CNN. They are showing much better footage at this point than TWC!
Hope you and yours fare well at Camp Creek, as well as all our friends that remained in the SoWal area.
