The Georgia Aquarium is consistently ranked in the top 3 of the country, Denver is not in the top 10. Therefore if your time is limited, certainly other attractions that you will not see anywhere but Denver might be more appealing. It is a very good aquarium just not on the level with the one in Atlanta.
Thanks, that is what I assumed.
Guenella Pass...how about Pearl Pass going from Aspen to Crested Butte. Now that is a FUN trip! One of my favorite fall trips...but need a bit more than a rental car to make it through.
I have never been that way. We have rented one of the "gas guzzling" suv's to tour in so would we be ok driving?? How long of a drive is it??

Three musts......

1. Clean out your sinuses. Otherwise your ears will be popping for weeks.

2. Take a dozen tubes of Chapstick with you. It is dry in Denver.

3. Take an O2 cannister with you. Air is thin.

Hey, you don't call them Aints anymore? :D

No need for an oxygen cannister - just drink lots of water, lay off the caffeine and alcohol (it's twice as potent at high altitude), and take it easy the first day or 2.

A half dose of sudafed w/ breakfast, a facial moisturizer, a chapstick, and a glass of water on the nightstand are all you typically need.

And remember your sunscreen (esp on your ears) - you're a mile or 2 closer to the sun!

If you want to go hiking in the nearby mountains, this book is the locals' bible:

I was just saying............... many cases of "altitude sickness" are hangovers.
Similar to a certain Sowaller's proclaimed "allergy" to a certain brand of Chardonnay.......after she drank almost an entire bottle and then didn't feel well the next day!
