That's rich. I'm not surprised at attempts of discrediting Fox though, number like this must really frustrate liberals.

I'm not disputing that Fox wins the cable news rating race - just pointing out for all cable programming, wrestling and Spongebob kick their a**, as do House and NCIS reruns.

And, of course, American Idol on broadcast whips all of them about fivefold. So, if you want to equate quality with ratings, I am afraid you are barking up the wrong tree.

yeah, really.

It's as though they took Karl Rove's play book for scare tactics and dumbed it down--A LOT!!

My original statement wasn't about who was ahead, it was skepticism about Fox increasing the share of viewership over the past few months. That hasn't been adequately explained if it's true.

That's a little scary. It sounds like the increase in viewers can be attributed to former non-news-watchers. That doesn't speak well of Fox credibility if they're capitalizing on the emotions of the ignorant and misinformed.

I don't equate "deep suspicion" of Obama with ignorance, not at all. But I think there is a significant subset of the voters who are hardwired to view the world very differently from Obama -- obviously -- and these are the people Fox is playing to. Obviously. For ratings. And it works!

That's rich. I'm not surprised at attempts of discrediting Fox though, number like this must really frustrate liberals.

So you don't believe Fox is biased from the top down? Really? If not, why not?

I don't find them any more biased than any of the other news networks or outlets, and less so than some like MSNBC and the NYT. I really don't know of any outlet that is completely unbiased, I really don't think it's possible.

Where are the Daily News and Colbert Report in the rankings? That's where a lot of my demographic gets their news.

God Bless every intelligent, concerned young citizen UNDER 30. I love them all--they are the future, our future!!
