My sister in law never met a brown food she wouldn't eat. Fried is the rule of the day!

Yeah...she wound up with gallstones...

I grew up on "brown, white, or fried." It is all in the same palate of colors and usually is based on starches and fried chicken.

Me, too. I like my meat to be cooked, and brown is the color of my favorite vegetable, the cocoa bean...

Me too, followed by gravy. (as a beverage)

(*snort!*)

Mustard? On grilled cheese? Hhmmmmm.....ok.

What's Ugli? Digg the basil....on my grilled cheese? I'll try it.

Yes, but not French's yellow mustard, a nice stone ground deli mustard is the way to go.

My future son-in-law is German and likes all types of food. But his preference is meat, potatoes, and bread. He is very slim BTW.

I remember on one of our trips to Germany getting so tired of white/tan/brown food. I asked them if they had anything green. The waiter said no. I said, "Not even any salads?" He said yes, and brought me an octopus "salad" -- nothing green about it except the color I turned when I started eating it.

Daughter did get some red food there once. She's always loved cherry Cokes and ordered one. Well, the waiter brought her a coke with fresh kirschen (cherries) in it. Quite good actually.

Mezzo Mix, best drink in the world.

I give up!

Definitely, and if he can bring some back I'll gladly pay!
By the time I got to him, he just stepped off the plane in Manchester. Sorry.

Daughter is so excited. :D On his trip in Germany, he was near the Czech border and bought her favorite book, Nesnesiteln? lehkost byt? (The Unbearable Lightess of Being), by the Czech author Milan Kundera and written in Czech.
