Really. Have you heard the song "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-A-Lot (http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/sirmixalot/babygotback.html)? It's hilarious. WARNING: it's very nasty, so don't click on the link if you can't deal with it.

On the other hand, remember in "Pulp Fiction" when Bruce Willis' girlfriend talked about how sexy big pot-bellies are and that she wanted a big pot-belly? Maybe it's a cultural thing? Or an individual preference?

Whatever. It's still not fair that guys can suck in their big bellies.

Only up to a point, and only for so long... :rotfl:

I feel your pain OBB. In my experience, I always thought men didn't really care about how they looked in a bathing suit as much as women did. How many men have meltdowns in the dressing room ?...they just pick one up and go home!!!

When selecting my swimsuits, I tend to feel better about myself if they don't have a mirror in the dressing room. I think mirrors, like jobs, are highly overated, unless you have food stuck in your teeth.:D

I think you are right....some people spend too much time looking at themselves and worrying what others will think! Let it all hang out!

Being married sure helps. It's nice not to have to look perfect all the time. The sweetest thing my hubby has ever said to me, was a couple of weeks ago on Seagrove beach. He saw me messing with my swimsuit and said, "Stop worrying, there's lots of other little mommies out here." He was right! I think we're so busy worrying about how we look, that we don't notice everyone else looking exactly the same.

(PS. Talk about a thread hi-jack!)

I had a Samoan man tell me once that it shows "I have eaten well, and not been eaten myself."

All I can say is, "Poor thing". :sosad:
