People talking on cell phones are bad enough drivers, but texters are even worse!

I admit that I sometimes talk on the phone while driving, but I try to limit it to the highway/interstate and if I have a passenger in the car, they answer the phone and talk to the person, not me.

No texting while driving in the Scootermobile - I have enough trouble doing that sitting on the sofa!

I'm scared as hell knowing that, as much as I enjoy riding my motorcycle, there are so many folks on the roads that are paying half-arsed attention, at best!..... I've had a few near-misses over the past two years on account of cell phone users.

Believe it or not, though, last week I saw a guy (I think his name was Dipstick) riding his Harley past Grand Boulevard, in traffic, and talking on his cell phone! I love me, and my motorcycle, wife, and kids too much to do something THAT dumb.

I think natural selection will take care of the texter/drivers. They may take a few of us with them, but oh well.:dunno:

It's not a near miss, it's a near hit. A collision is a near miss.
