All ages and all types. That's why I rarely entertain. I don't think my friends would get along.
I hardly ever put all my friends together either. We are in little groups with a common bond. I have a group of girlfriends from school and college. I have groups of friends from all my past jobs that don't know each other. My football friends and my church friends would never get along. I even have a group of friends that rode the bus downtown with me on my last job. We were the loud morning people in the back of the bus (TARC). We have a TARC-ette Christmas party that no one else is interested in attending. I don't blame them. We all worked in banks, law offices or brokerage firms. When you spend so much of your day buttoned down, you go a little nuts when they let you out.

I have friends ranging in all ages, and I have close friends who are 80+ years old down to about 23 years old, and many in between. If I had to write them on a list, I'd probably find that I am probably above the median age of my close friends.

Most of my friends are older...
...and qualify for the senior discount.
Most of my close friends are around my age give or take 5 years but I have a lot of church friends in every age range.
My friends are close to my age or older - I think because younger folks can't get into bars/clubs/events I enjoy.
