Dodged a Bullet this Afternoon

My power just came back on after a tornado hit 1/4 mile from my house at about 5:00 today. Destroyed several trailers in a mobile home park right down the street from me, including a very good friends son's home. Everyone is ok though thank goodness. It was very scary, but I am thankful there were no serious injuries. The storm in heading East, hopefully there will be no more damage. Hope all of you are all ok!

Thanks kurt...it was a rough afternoon. Power was out for a little over 3 hours. I haven't ventured out of the house. Yes, and I am thankful for my internet.

So glad you are ok and your friend's son! I think it went south of us, but it was ugly here all day!

They started predicting it yesterday and for once they were right on the mark. School was dismissed at 1:00 today and Jesse went home with a friend to spend the night. He wasn't here when it got so bad and I am thankful for that because he would have freaked out. He called and checked on us though. He was worried. But all is well now. Nothing a few Miller Lights can't cure. ;-) Thank Cod I went to the grocery before it hit!
