In the news quite a bit for leaving her husband. But, I've noticed in the clips and pics of them, even though she stayed a few years ago, she seemed to be distant from him. Either pulling away or keeping a substantial physical distance from him. I wish them both and their family well.

Oh my gosh! I'm sure there's plenty we don't know--and plenty we wish we didn't know. No matter what demons she may have herself (we all do), in my book, the woman's GOT to be a saint.
Thanks for starting the thread. I saw her on the front of People. She looks amazing after all that she has been through.
I don't know how her cancer is doing. Do you? I might have to google that and see.
Boy John Edwards sure pulled the wool over a lot of folks who thought him such a "nice" guy. He's cooked - I hope it was all worth it to him. Very sad.

I saw a news clip on CNN that said Elizabeth Edwards was in remission. With all the stress she has endured, remission seems like a miracle. I pray she stays well and raises her two children away from John Dog. If she were to pass away, I shudder to think of John raising those kids with his mistrss. I am sure EE shudders as well.
What is with the current trend of sneaking around? It's become a sport not only with famous people but right here in our back yard. I am in the dating world and I have busted THREE guys in the last year who claimed to be free but were not.

Can't remember where I saw it, but someone was totally taking him to task for that. It's one thing to deny an affair, but something COMPLETELY different to outright deny your child - and do it on video WHERE THE KID WILL SEE IT LATER!
No she would have stayed I think. I'm not sure she is the one wanting this separation. I see her as a woman who would do anything to keep her family intact.
I wish her strength as this must be overly painful to be in the headlines daily.
