Those in charge propagate fear with this tripe. Fear is our default emotion setting, and creating a society of paranoid cowards is just what the boys at Lockheed-Martin et al want. Fear is profitable. Love cannot be patented.

Love isn't always requited either. If you are in doubt, pick up virtually any Pat Conroy book. Or read about missionaries with their heads put in antbeds to die. I just love the notion that no one has really challenged, assuming we offer love, does anyone know what the Koran says we still have to do to be accepted?

Ok.. So beyond the obvious "Why him?" question, why do you hate hippies so much? And to you, what is the definition of a hippy? I mean I get creeped out by clowns, but I know that's not rational.

You're not getting it. We are talking about working on yourself and your own attitude. It does not mean to be defenseless. Regarding missionaries, I have the same opinion about that situation as I do non-essential intervention throughout the world. LEAVE PEOPLE ALONE! If you offer help, put the Bible away, because it's much safer that way. It would be so easy for America to do, but so unprofitable for some of the big dogs standing just off camera.
